Some Examples of Our Individualized Treatment Plans That Benefit These Common Conditions.
Bladder & Bowel Incontinence: To improve pelvic floor health, we employ postural education and functional training using biofeedback to correct pelvic floor weakness. We also use bladder and bowel behavioral retraining to establish a more normalized schedule.
Constipation: To improve bowel regularity, treatment may include: diet education, bowel massage techniques, postural education, pelvic floor relaxation and breathing techniques.
Osteoporosis: To create and support bone health our treatments include: strengthening, proper body mechanics, postural and balance training, stretching, education and resistive exercise programs.
Pre-Natal Conditions: To help ensure a more comfortable pregnancy, we offer several treatments, including: manual therapy, strengthening, stretching or postural training. These are particularly effective in countering pain in the lumbar, thoracic or cervical spine and to lessen carpal tunnel syndrome. We also provide relaxation training and exercises for women on bed rest.
Post-Childbearing Conditions: To help restore your pre-natal health and well-being, we customize your treatment plan, which may include scar massage, pelvic floor and core strengthening, and functional training such as lifting techniques to protect your body while it recovers.
Pelvic Pain: To reduce pelvic pain, we focus on relaxation of the pelvic floor musculature, using bio-feedback; treatment of intra-vaginal and/or intra-rectal trigger points; connective tissue mobilization; lower extremity flexibility exercises and core strengthening.
Low Back Pain: To improve back pain, we offer treatments including core strengthening, spinal mobilization, body mechanics, postural training, flexibility exercises, myofascial and trigger point release.
